Sue Storm, known as the Invisible Woman, is one of the Fantastic Four. She’s the 35th character added to the game. She is a Strategist, a support hero. While her husband Mister Fantastic serves as a Defender, Sue takes on the Support role. Her abilities focus on healing, shielding, crowd control, and invisibility in her kit.

In Marvel Rivals, Sue has higher max health than most other Strategists. She is more survivable in mid-range combat. Her powers come from cosmic ray exposure, letting her create energy shields and turn invisible.

Sue is the heart of the Fantastic Four. She always keeps calm and leads under pressure. In the "Built To Last" story, she defends New York during a vampire invasion. At the same time, she thinks about her kids, Franklin and Valeria. She’s always a protector - both on the battlefield and at home.

Her abilities make her a flexible pick for any team. Whether supporting allies or blocking enemies' fire with Guardian Shield, she brings value. And she can turn the tide with her ultimate.

If you want to unlock more skins or get ahead in the game, options like Marvel Rivals Top Up can help you a lot and greatly improve your gameplay experience.

Sue Storm’s Abilities

Primary Fire – Orb Projection

She fires energy orbs that pierce allies and enemies up to 30 m. Then it will return for a second hit. Each hit will deal 20 damage to enemies and heal 40 health to teammates

She can fire 10 times before reloading. The attack doesn’t lose power over distance.

Tip: Aim at allies or nearby land so it returns quickly—this increases healing or damage.

Secondary Fire – Guardian Shield

This ability places a movable 300-health barrier in front of a teammate. This barrier blocks damage and heals anyone standing behind. Key points:

  • Lasts until destroyed or recalled
  • Recalling it restores its health
  • Gives 50 health per second to nearby allies
  • Slows enemies passing through by 30% for 3 seconds
  • Blocks the line of sight, stopping tracking abilities

Tip: You can move it between allies by recalling and redeploying it. Use it to support low-health teammates or cover pushes.

Mobility & Stealth

Veiled Step: A double jump that propels Sue forward and makes her invisible instantly.

Covert Advance: If she doesn’t attack for 5.5 seconds, she will turn invisible and heal for 20 health per second.

While invisible, she can’t be targeted by any auto-lock abilities.

Crowd Control

Psionic Vortex: Throw a projectile that creates a field pulling in enemies. It deals 35 damage per second and slows them. You can trigger it early. Flying enemies lose flight inside it.

Force Physics: Short-range push or pull that deals 55 damage. Use it to knock enemies into your vortex or away from your team.

Tips: Combine both for strong zone control during team fights.

Ultimate – Invisible Boundary

Creates a large dome that:

  • Makes allies inside invisible to enemies for 8 seconds
  • Heals allies for 165 health per second
  • Slows entering enemies by 55%
  • Protect allies from enemies' tracking skill

Tip: If enemies enter the dome, they can still damage your team.

Gameplay Tips

Team with the Fantastic Four

Sue’s passive, FANTASTI-FORCE, gives a 15% healing boost to Mister Fantastic. With all four Fantastic members:

  • Mister Fantastic becomes harder to take down
  • Sue's Guardian Shield can protect the whole team
  • Corporation with Human Torch and The Thing creates more pressure
  • Mister Fantastic becomes harder to take down
  • Sue's Guardian Shield helps protect the whole team
  • Coordination with Human Torch and The Thing increases pressure

Positioning and Map Control

  • Stay mid-range from the fight so you can hit enemies and heal allies with Orb Projection
  • Use terrain and your shield to stay safe
  • Use Veiled Step to jump and turn invisible, helping you dodge attacks or reposition
  • Keep moving to avoid abilities like Hawkeye’s ultimate

Countering Key Threats

Star-Lord: Your invisibility and Guardian Shield block his auto-targeting ultimate.

Hawkeye: Invisible Boundary hides your team from Hunter’s Sight.

Flying Heroes: Use Psionic Vortex to ground them.

Use Force Physics to push melee enemies away or pull isolated ones into your team’s range.

Sue Storm Marvel Rivals Skin

Sue Storm has several skins, including Malice, Blood Shield, Future Foundation, and more. The Malice skin—black and red with spikes and silver hair—is particularly popular.

Her visual design made her searches increase by 3000% after her season launch. Even the Fantastic Four film actress Vanessa Kirby jokingly asked if Sue was naked when invisible. And Pedro Pascal said “designers, take note” about the Malice skin.

Final Thoughts

There's a reason why Invisible Woman stands out among support heroes. She blends healing, shielding, crowd control, and invisibility in ways other supports don’t. But this also makes her skill ceiling high. Whether you're just learning or refining pro-level mechanics, Sue Storm will always be a worth-play hero.
